Join Patterns for Concurrent Agents (position paper)
Main Article Content
Abstract
Even though the Agent Oriented Programming (AOP) paradigm has been introduced over 20 years ago, the following is still modest. We believe this is partially due to the lack of the community to address such real world issues as concurrency and distribution.
In this paper we take a look at the possibility of combining elements from the Join Calculus, namely \emph{join patterns} with an AOP programming language, in our case Jason. We discuss some of the implications, advantages and possible drawbacks.
